Repower Engineering™
provides complete small engine replacement kits
for outdoor power equipment such as lawn and garden tractors. We focus
on only one set of problems -- engineering the finest engine replacement
systems for the outdoor power equipment industry. Each solution
is designed and developed with the full cooperation of the small engine
manufacturers. Dynamometer and temperature tests are conducted on these applications,
as needed. Each repower kit is engineered for easy installation and a long
service life. Each includes detailed instructions so that mechanically inclined consumers can do it themselves.
We've started with the Simplicity garden tractor lineup, and are now
developing and testing repower kits for John Deere. |

Engine Mounting Solutions
A range of rigorously engineered and tested
adapter plates to allow modern engines to be easily installed in place of
older generation engines. They adapt both the bolt patterns and the
crankshaft heights to support simple, bolt-in installations. Coming

Complete Engineered Repower Kits For
Lawn and Garden Tractors
Repower Engineering has 7 kits to repower Simplicity tractors. Three kits
repower the 7100 family with the Kohler TH18 TRIAD engine. Three kits repower
the 7100 family with the Kohler CH18 Command engine. These kits cover
all 7100 models, either Briggs
and Stratton or Kohler powered, also including Simplicity 7790 diesels and
the 900-series Allis (Allis Chalmers, Deutz-Allis or Agco-Allis). Another kit,
the SS-1, repowers the Simplicity SunStar or equivalent Allis, replacing the Kohler M18 and M20 with the
Kohler CR 20 Command engine.
These kits include the ENGINE and ALL PARTS required to do the
installation, including conversions as needed for the ignition and solenoid
actuated starter applications.
Complete, illustrated step-by-step instructions are
included, explaining not only what to do -- but also why. Kits are designed for
installation with basic hand tools. Mechanical skill greater than that required for routine service and
maintenance is required, but it's still well within the capabilities of
mechanically-minded consumers. Some applications may require some drilling and cutting.
